The Outaouais

Situated in the southwest part of the province
of Quebec, the Outaouais is a charming region bordered by the Laurentians, Abitibi-Temiscamingue and Ontario.

There are a large number of forests, lakes and rivers in this vast territory, which have shaped its character and history. The extensive and ongoing agriculture in the Outaouais lives side-by-side with this generous natural landscape. On Outaouais roads, there are a variety of climates and soils that offer varied farm vistas where one can still see animals out at pasture.
